The Wisdom informs the player that they believe the sickness and strangeness is caused because the player can channel. They have heard of it before. The player must travel to Tar Valon as quickly as possible and talk to the Aes Sedai and learn to control this power. If they do not, they will most likely die. |

following is handled by dialog. The game opens and the man is on a ship, in a cabin with a Windfinder and the Captain and Cargo Master. The man is told that his problems of late are because he has the curse of channeling. He is told the consequences of a male channeler, as he already knows, but also told of a rumor that men who can channel are being gathered near Caemlyn to serve the Corramoor. He is told to seek out this place. |

He is told that in the past, he would know what he should do; he should travel to the waste and fight the shadow spawn. But now, the Car'a'carn is gathering men to help in the fight against the Shadow. He must go to Caemlyn and seek these men. |

following is handled by dialog. The game opens in the nation of the player's race with the player in a room with the local version of the Wisdom. The Wisdom informs the player that they believe the sickness and strangeness is caused because the player can channel. They have heard of it before. The player certainly will die if they do not learn how to control this. The Wisdom says that normally she would have sent word to the White Tower so that the Aes Sedai could cure him of this but there is another way. The Aes Sedai cure is rarely better than the disease except it isn't so painful. They have both heard the rumors that this so-called Dragon Reborn is gathering men who can channel and teaching them. They need to hurry and either go to the White Tower or go to Caemlyn, it is their choice. But they must do it quick. |

will always fail at embracing the source. Player must find one of the channeling factions. There they will hear rumors of an Ashaman with the Aiel that can heal a woman who is stilled or burnt out. They will also hear rumors of Nyneave being able to heal this as well. The rumors of the Ashaman are stronger. Player must seek either Nyneave or Dammer Flinn to get healed. Once healed, reset global variable. If Nyneave is chosen, the player is reset to 1/10 the skill. WOT_MagicBurntOut = 0 |

will always fail at embracing the source. Player must find one of the channeling factions. There they will hear rumors Logain being healed. They must seek Logain to find out how to be healed. Logain will tell of Nyneave and how to find her and give the player a note that vouches for the player and says the player will help Rand by joining the Ashaman. Player might also try to directly find Nyneave. Nyneave will refuse unless player is sent by Logain. Once healed, reset global variable. WOT_MagicBurntOut = 0 |

will have a 40% chance of embracing the source every time they try. They will have a 60% chance of failure each
attempt. Once the player embraces the
source, they will be able to cast spells until their mana is drained. Player must join one of the channeling faction. Each channeling faction will have one NCP that can help with the block and has time. The player will then work with that NCP and learn some new spells as well as undergo things such as having to get drunk and channel, having to run around until their fatigue is at 50% then channel, having to wear a silly hat in public and channel while embarrased, cast underwater, cast on some cliff or roof. We need some good ideas in this space. Once the player has completed all the tasks asked by the NCP, the player will no longer be blocked. WOT_MagicBlocked = 0 |
